This special gathering brings together leading voices in education and technology to explore how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the learning experience across sectors and generations.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Education Office of the Embassy of Greece in London and held under the auspices of the Embassy. It was honoured by the presence, and the thoughtful contributions, of Ms. Maira Myrogianni, Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ms. Ioanna Kriebardi, Deputy Head of the Embassy of Greece in London; and Ms. Kalliopi Filippaki, Head of the Education Office.
The agenda featured speakers from leading global technology firms as well as London-based startups. The panel was moderated by Udai Dhamija, Founder and CEO of Oxbridge AIx, a community of artificial intelligence startups founded by students and alumni of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
Discussions focused on recent developments at the intersection of education and artificial intelligence, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges posed by personalized learning and the need for systematic, inclusive support for every student.

Thanos began his career at Amazon, building products at scale across the global network before diving deep into analytics. He now works on products with even larger scale at Google while completing his MSc in Software Engineering at the University of Oxford, where his thesis focused on AI. Passionate about impact-driven tech, Thanos has previously worked on edtech startups, built algorithmic trading systems, and is now exploring innovation in the construction tech space.
Senior Lecturer , University of Patras / HLV University of East London
Anastasia Misirli is a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at the University of Patras, specialising in educational robotics, digital play, and teacher education in digital competencies. She has contributed to numerous national and EU research projects, published widely, and served as an expert on the national curriculum. Her work includes extensive collaborations as a trainer and consultant with academic and educational institutions.

With nearly a decade in big tech, she works at the intersection of innovation, creativity, and human impact. She is passionate about how AI is shaping the future of work - and how we can make it more accessible, ethical, and meaningful in fields like education, healthcare and social impact.

Nasia is a User Experience Researcher at Meta. She has a PhD in Education from the University of Cambridge as a Cambridge Trust and Onassis Foundation scholar. In addition to her academic research on education, psychology and new technologies, Nasia has also worked as a primary school teacher.

Leader at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Generative AI Innovation Centre, brings over 15 years of experience across telco, adtech, and media. She leads cross-functional teams supporting customers across EMEA with generative AI solutions. Chara is also the co-founder of AWS Cloud Women, a growing community aimed at closing the cloud skills gap and creating safe, inclusive spaces for women in tech.
