The Future of Education Through the Lens of AI was an exclusive evening event hosted by the Hellenic Tech Network (HTN) in collaboration with the Education Office of the Greek Embassy in London, and held under the auspices of the Greek Embassy.
Taking place at the Goethe-Institut London on 12 June 2025, the event brought together parents, students, educators, and professionals to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming education. Through an engaging expert panel and open discussion, attendees gained insights into how AI is shaping smarter, more personalized, and more inclusive learning experiences, while reflecting on the opportunities and challenges ahead for education in the digital age.

The event featured distinguished speakers and contributors from diplomacy, academia, and the global technology sector, offering a rich and multidisciplinary perspective on the future of education and AI.
The evening opened with a welcoming address by Ioanna Kriebardi, Minister Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Greece in London, followed by introductory remarks from Kalliopi Filippaki, Deputy Counsellor at the Education Office of the Embassy of Greece in London, who set the educational and strategic context of the discussion.
The panel discussion was moderated by Udai Dhamija, Founder and CEO of Oxbridge AIx, who guided a dynamic and insightful conversation among leading experts in artificial intelligence, education, and innovation.
Panelists included Tetiana Revun (Program Manager, Google DeepMind), Chara Gravani (Manager, AI Architecture and Engineering, AWS Generative AI Innovation Centre), Nasia Kotsiou (User Experience Researcher, Meta), Thanasis Dimosiaris (Software Engineer, Google), Dr. Anastasia Misirli (Senior Lecturer, University of Patras / Hellenic University of East London), Stella Bompotsiari (Founder & CEO, The Greek Online School), and Louis Loizou (Founder & CEO, Pathbuddy).
Together, the speakers shared practical insights and forward-looking perspectives on how AI is shaping teaching, learning, and educational ecosystems, highlighting innovation, inclusion, and the evolving role of educators in an AI-driven world.
