About the Event

The AI & Democracy Forum comes to Athens, the city where democracy was born. More than two millennia ago, this was the place where the radical idea emerged that citizens should have a voice in how they are governed.

Today, as artificial intelligence reshapes institutions, public discourse, and power itself, the Forum arrives in Athens to reflect on whether—and how—democratic values can endure and evolve in the age of intelligent systems.

Building on the AI & Democracy dialogue launched in London, the Athens Forum brings together leaders from technology, public policy, academia, media, and civil society to explore how AI is transforming democratic governance, public trust, and civic participation—grounded in history, yet firmly focused on the future.
